Summer Wedding Trends We’re Swooning Over!
Summer is officially here and with it brings a new season of trends. Warmer weather, stunning sunsets and an extended variety of blooms are just a few of the reasons couples love this time of year. As our team of experts prepares for another wedding season, we’re sharing the top trends our brides cannot get enough of.
Here’s a look at what will be hot this summer…
Décor
Couples are looking to elevate their event décor, literally. Whether suspended from the ceiling or hovering above the table, floating centerpieces will be everywhere this summer.

Incorporating non-traditional elements in décor such as fruit—think lemons, pomegranates, miniature pineapples, statement stems, and even metallic spheres will be a growing trend for summer soirées.
Floral
From traditional blooms and exotic flowers to delicate petals and sprigs of greenery, bouquets featuring an array of florals will be a favorite among summer brides. Today’s brides are carrying anywhere from five to a dozen varieties down the aisle. Popular picks include roses, peonies, gardenias, ranunculuses and amaryllises.

Greenery will continue to be a huge trend as designers perfect the “lush garden look” couples absolutely adore. You’ll see leaves and vines in expected places like bouquets, arches and centerpieces, but you will also see nature dressing up chandeliers, escort card tables, cake displays and place settings.

Ceremony & Dinner
Looking for a unique ceremony setup? Ceremonies in the round, where chairs are setup up 360 degrees around the couple, create a more intimate feeling for guests and allow the couple to exchange vows completely surrounded by loved ones. Breakers’ couples are loving this setup in the Gold Room and The Circle. Half-circle ceremonies will also be popular on the Ocean Lawn.

The eternity circle is our new envy! This modern twist on the ceremony arch features a free standing circle for the couple to say “I Do” in front of. Couples are connecting to the symbolism of circles, which traditionally represent the endless love between a bride and a groom. We’re predicting summer nuptials will feature more of this celebrated shape.
