The Sidecar: Sip & Savor History
Take a step back in time, and get ready to sip a true taste of history.
The Sidecar was the definitive cocktail of the Prohibition era and was enjoyed by Palm Beach party-goers who were lucky enough to find coveted foreign spirits.
Our recipe is straight from the personal playbook of W.R. Kenan, Jr. – brother-in-law of our founder, Henry Morrison Flagler – circa 1929. This original recipe was discovered on property and is said to have been Henry Morrison Flagler’s favorite cocktail to drink while traveling in his railcar.
Enjoy this cocktail at HMF or sip and savor it at home. Either way, you’ll fall in love with the pure ingredients that are simply prepared and pack a punch.
