Bridal Fashion Week: Fall 2015 Wedding Gown Inspiration

The wedding industry’s most coveted bridal fashion designers showcased their new collections over the past week and our team couldn’t be more inspired. We’re in awe over the new gowns for fall 2015.

Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta has always been a powerhouse in the couture bridal fashion world, but after the talented designer created Amal Alamuddin’s stunning custom gown for her Venice wedding to George Clooney, all eyes were on de la Renta. In fact, Mrs. Clooney’s off-the-shoulder, A-line gown with flora lace overlay inspired most of his new fall 2015 collection.

Vera Wang

Flowing with tulle and covered in Chantilly lace and handmade flower appliques, Vera Wang said her inspiration for fall was romance with a focus on traditional bridal fabrics. The new collection also features five made-to-order column gowns in nude, rose and ivory metallic lace.

Monique Lhuillier

Inspired by the elegance of a ballerina, Monique Lhuillier’s new collection features an array of princess and trumpet gowns with elements of heavy beading, tulle and Chantilly lace. Several gowns will also be available in lavender, peach, gold and mint.

Badgley Mischka

The new collection for Mark Badgley and James Mischka embodies the essence of old Hollywood glamour. The gowns were all about the details – subtle and heavy beading, sheer cutouts, tiered ruffles, embroidered floral patterns and exaggerated back bows.

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera said her new fall lineup is filled with romance, femininity and fantasy. Her ivory lace and satin gowns featured paillette embroideries, laser-cut appliques and beading.
