The Breakers Goes Orange For Hunger

In honor of National Hunger Action Month and today’s Hunger Action Day, The Breakers is lighting its historic Florentine Fountain orange tonight.

Did you know? In South Florida, more than 870,000 individuals don’t know where they will get their next meal. More than 287,000 of those individuals are children.

We join Feeding South Florida, a member of Feeding America, and other partner hunger relief agencies to ask everyone in our community to take action against hunger.

Throughout Hunger Action Month, Feeding South Florida invites you to help end hunger through the “30 Ways in 30 Days” campaign. Whether it’s by advocating and raising awareness, making donations, or volunteering, you can find the way that’s right for you to make a difference during Hunger Action Month.
