Real Wedding: Amanda & David
Growing up in Palm Beach, The Breakers has always held a special place in Amanda’s heart. Her family celebrated the holidays at the resort, hosted her Bat Mitzvah 13 years earlier and her parents first met David’s parents while enjoying Sunday Brunch.
When Amanda and David were ready to say “I Do,” the bride-to-be knew exactly where she wanted to host her special day.
“The Breakers held a certain meaning for our families,” Amanda says. “Also, food was incredibly important to us. We love to eat, and eat well, and we knew The Breakers would not disappoint us or our guests!”

“The best part of the ceremony was the breaking of the glass and having the guests yell, ‘Mazel Tov,’” Amanda says of her favorite memory. “After a year of planning and eagerly awaiting the wedding, it had finally happened and it was loud and crazy and exciting.”
“Another favorite memory was when David and I toasted our guests right before the cake cutting,” Amanda says. “We wanted to thank everyone for coming, for traveling from near and far, and just having that opportunity to look at all of our friends and family and really take it all in was pretty incredible.“
“The planning process was actually more fun than stressful and the end product was quite literally the best wedding I have ever attended,” Amanda jokes. “I know I’m not really an impartial judge, but I am 100% sure that I’m correct. Absolutely everything was how I had envisioned it. Totally perfect!”
