Bridal Week: New Haute Looks for Fall 2014
On the heels of Fashion Week, the wedding industry’s top designers dazzled on the runway last week as they showcased their couture collections for New York International Bridal Week.
{Always a showstopper, Vera Wang ‘s Fall 2014 Bridal premiered
in an array of stunning pink hues.}
With so many gorgeous gowns to choose from, our team had a tough time selecting our favorites. Here are a few lovely looks and the hot new bridal trends for Fall/Winter 2014….
Vintage Glamour
Elegant, graceful and absolutely gorgeous, Jenny Packham’s 2014 collection is vintage glamour at its finest. The British powerhouse featured sheath gowns with incredible beaded details, sheer sleeves and sparkly crystal-embellished belts.
Lovely Lace
{Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 | Monique Lhuillier Fall/Winter 2014}
Forever inspired by the gorgeous Kate Middleton and her fairytale Royal Wedding, lace is here to stay. New collections by bridal fashion icons Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhuillier featured gowns with lace appliques, long lace sleeves and extraordinary lace embroidery.
Pretty in Pink
The ever-innovative Vera Wang awed again this season with a “Think Pink” collection she described herself as sensual, seductive, dreamy, sophisticated, strong and cool. With silk organza, organic flower detailing and hand draped tulle, we couldn’t agree more!
Dramatic Backs
{Ines Di Santo Fall/Winter 2014}
Showcasing gowns from both her Luxe and Couture collections, Ines Di Santo wowed with dazzling dresses in her signature mermaid style. Di Santo’s gowns create dramatic silhouettes that will leave your groom (and all of your guests!) breathless as you walk down the aisle.
{THEIA | Carolina Herrera}
What girl doesn’t love pockets? Functional and fabulous, THEIA presented a few gowns with secret pockets and almost all of Carolina Herrera’s new collection is outfitted with pockets! Herrera also included several knee-length fun and flirty looks that we’d love to see a bride rock at her Welcome Party or Rehearsal Dinner.
