Breakers’ Bride-To-Be Featured On The Cover of Brides Magazine!

Special congratulations to beautiful Breakers’ bride-to-be Brenna, who graces the cover of Bridesmagazine this month. Brenna actually did the shoot in December, before getting engaged this January – wearing the gown must have been a lucky charm!

The gorgeous bride and her fiancé Brandon will tie the knot at The Breakers next summer. Until then, Brenna sat down with us and gushed about modeling, her Breakers’ destination wedding and what she’s looking forward to most on the big day.



Q: How long have you been modeling? Was this your first shoot for a wedding publication?
A: I started modeling after graduating from the University of Virginia. I moved to New York to pursue modeling, and have been with Wilhelmina Models for a year and a half. This is my first Bridal cover, but I have been inside other bridal magazines, as well as doing bridal showrooms, and some bridal runway shows.

Q: What drew you and Brandon to choose The Breakers for your destination wedding weekend?
When I was little my family and I took a vacation down to Florida and stayed at The Breakers hotel. I remember sneaking a peek into one of the ballrooms, where a wedding was taking place, and completely fell in love! To me, the hotel is where elegance mixes with comfort, and I knew then that I had found the place I wanted to get married at. My parents have known for years (I reminded them every year) that it was my dream to be married at The Breakers. Brandon and I took a vacation to the hotel this past spring, and he clearly saw why I fell in love with it. It didn’t take long to decide that a destination wedding at The Breakers was the best fit for our wedding!

Q: What was it like wear a wedding dress before you were engaged?
A: It was fun! The whole process of hair and make-up was really exciting, especially seeing everything put together in the final photo. The cover was shot in December, and Brandon popped the question at the end of January in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. So it was pretty special that the magazine came out this April.

Q: Did you get any wedding ideas you plan to steal from the shoot?
A: I’ve seen what types of wedding dresses fit my body, different types of hair styles, make up, jewelry etc, and I’ve taken bits and pieces. I’m going to save what exactly I am going to take from the shoot … so Brandon is still surprised!

Q: What are you most looking forward to for your wedding?
A: The moment my father walks me down the aisle and I see Brandon for the first time standing at the altar! After that, I’m so excited for dancing and well, the entire night!
