Want to give your bridesmaids an extra special treat before the wedding? Whether you’re here at The Breakers for a destination wedding or even if South Florida is your home, a beachside bridesmaid luncheon is the perfect way to thank your ladies for standing by your side on your big day!
Since you’re hosting your luncheon at a Palm Beach Wedding Resort, a beachy theme is the way to go! Special menus, flip-flop Rice Krispie treats used as place cards and bright colors are a great way to give an extra special touch of personality to your luncheon.

Before going green became mainstream in the hospitality industry, The Breakers pioneered this challenge. It was more than ten-years ago that we became an ecologically friendly hotel (awesome, right?).
“We all share a passion for preserving our planet and reducing our carbon footprint, ” says Rick Hawkins, Director of Materials Management. “Our goal is to set standards high enough to be a model for our community and our peers.”
Today, The Breakers operates tons of innovative “Go Green” programs and initiatives including: a green market for employees during growing season, an organic herb & veggie garden (seen above) and water conservation.

I wish more people would write blogs like this that are really fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the net, it is rare to read a blog like this instead.

Winter is upon us at Wedding Blog by The Breakers– which means warm, festive weddings with robust and flavorful menu items are all the craze right now! Lucky for us, one of the things that makes our Palm Beach wedding resort so special is the many imaginative menu items that our chef’s create.
A fantastic seasonal treat created especially for winter brides-to-be is this Red Delicious Apple (featured just for Wedding Blog by The Breakers readers!)! It’s roasted lightly and is filled with scrumptious Emmenthaler Fondue. Cranberry, walnut and apple chutney is spread onto toasted mini baguettes and walnut raisin toast and then dipped into the delicious fondue.
