When it comes to the First Dance, sometimes “no rules” and the best rules. With beautiful melodies and lovely lyrics, these five tunes are perfect for any couple looking for something a little different…

“You Are The Best Thing” — Ray LaMontagne

“Lucky” — Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat

“Better Together” — Jack Johnson

 “Crush” – Dave Matthews Band

“Spend My Life With You” — Eric Benét feat.Tamia

Would you use one of these unique songs for your First Dance as a married couple?

For Brittany and John, selecting the perfect venue for their dream destination wedding wasn’t much of a selection at all. Growing up vacationing at The Breakers, the Palm Beach resort always held a special place in Brittany’s heart and was the only place to celebrate their “I Do.”

“I vividly remember seeing a wedding at The Breakers when I was vacationing there as a little girl. My mother and I were looking out over our balcony onto the Ocean Lawn and watched the bride walk toward her groom, the ocean framing them in the background…” Brittany recalls. “I thought it was the most beautiful wedding I had ever seen and ever since then, when I would think about my ‘dream wedding,’ I would picture The Breakers.”

“One of my most favorite wedding moments was walking into the beautiful ballroom and seeing all our loved ones smiling back at us,” Brittany shares. “The room looked spectacular and everyone was so excited… Including us! I just remember feeling the most wonderful ‘glow’ experiencing that with my husband. It was the most memorable day of our lives.”
