5. Primer You can have it all with this primer. “It’s hydrating but not greasy, and has great staying power,” says Wood. Your foundation literally won’t budge all day. Foundation Primer, $32, LauraMercier.com

6. Lipstick Bite has the best selection of colors. “The lipsticks are extra moisturizing, so it goes on really smooth, and they’re made with food-grade ingredients,” says Megan Garmers, founder of MG Hair and Makeup. Luminoud Creme lipstick in Vidal, $24, Bite Beauty, Sephora.com

7. Foundation “This formula is super-lightweight and buildable. Start with a sheer add layers,” recommends Anthea King, celebrity makeup artist. Maestro foundation, $62, GiorgioArmaniBeauty.com

8. Eye Shadow This is the end-all-be-all of eye shadow palettes. “It has an amazing range of natural colors, shimmers and mattes, and they blend together so well,” McGrath says. Naked2 palette, $50, UrbanDecay.com

9. Mascara If you want to plump up your lashes, this mascara “will give you the fullest looking fringe ever,” says Kim Baker, a makeup artist who works with Toni Braxton and Annalynne McCord. Volum’ Express The Colossal mascara in Classic Black, $8, Maybelline, CVS.com

10. Highlighter “This satiny highlighter gives off a really natural looking dewy sheen,” says King. And it doesn’t have all the artificial shimmer that other highlighters do. Moon Beam, $26, BenefitCosmetics.com
