Add some fun Florida flavor to your next party with The Flamingo. Fruity and bright pink, wouldn’t this be the perfect cocktail to sip as you and your ladies get ready on wedding day? Yum!

Whip up a batch for your next wedding planning meeting, or to sip before dress shopping with your bridesmaids….

What you’ll need:

  • 1 ¼ Bombay Gin
  • ¾ ounce Apricot Brandy
  • ¼ ounce Lime Juice
  • Splash of Grenadine

How to:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker and strain into a 10-ounce rocks or martini glass. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge and serve with a smile!

Share your creation: If you make The Breakers’ Flamingo cocktail at home – or use any of our Something To Sip On recipes – take a photo and upload it to our Facebook page!

Unless you despise relaxing paradise, hate gazing at swaying palm trees and cringe at the idea of ogling the deep blue ocean water, than yes — a destination wedding in Palm Beach is right for you!

Is a destination wedding right for me?

What makes a destination wedding the perfect choice for one of the most important days of your life?

1. You get to travel

When you plan your destination wedding at a luxury resort like The Breakers Palm Beach, you don’t have to feel guilty when you say goodbye to that bad weather in your hometown and jet off to Florida with your bikini — and without the hassle of passports and International travel.

2. You’ll stand out from the crowd
According to Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, more than two million American couples wed every year — and fewer than 20 percent of them have destination weddings. You won’t have to worry about duplicating what your friends have done locally for their weddings.

3. You’ll have amazing décor
There isn’t a better backdrop for a wedding than the gorgeous ocean. Surrounded by palm trees, you can say “I Do” while the sea air blows through your hair.

4. Enjoy quality time with your loved ones
At most weddings, the bride and groom spend an average of four or five hours with their guests. When hosting a destination wedding, you get to spend the entire weekend relaxing with your guests on the beach, dancing the night away after the wedding and celebrating the nuptials the next day at brunch.

5. It’s easier
As we like to say: Plan your destination wedding weekend at The Breakers and you won’t have to venture off the property. You can also choose from an array of wedding packages and enhancements and an exceptional list of The Breakers’ recommended wedding professionals, making the planning process simple and exciting. At The Breakers, your vision is our vow.
